1st Annual VFW Post 9274 9/11 Memorial Ruck March/Walk

Join VFW Post 9274 to honor the victims whose lives were taken and first responders who risked their lives after the attacks on September 11, 2001.

The entire community is invited to participate in the 1st Annual 9/11 Memorial 5K Ruck March/Walk (no ruck necessary) on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the Meridian High School Football Field Track. This is not a competition and there will be no times recorded.  This is a free event, with donations for veterans programs through VFW Post 9274 encouraged.  

Please join us at VFW Post 9274, at 7118 Shreve Road, after the walk for a cook out.  T-Shirts will be available for purchase, to commemorate your participation.  

We are please to announce that Harvey's and Lazy Mike's are food sponsors for the cookout!  In addition, VIGEO Physical Therapy will sponsor a water/medic tent at the event.  

Arrival is 9:00 am, with an approximate group start time of 9:30 am.  Rain or shine.
