Learning basic academic drawing skills can be compared to learning sheet music for a musician. Providing a foundation for all kinds of painting, academic drawing makes the artist?s hand stronger and more confident. In addition to drawing skills, you will learn patience, accuracy, perseverance, and the ability to complete a concept.
Please note: Students must have completed vaccination for Covid-19. Falls Church Arts follows the current guidelines for masking, which are updated as needed.
Iryna Smitchkova
Iryna Smitchkova is an international artist, born in the Soviet Union and now living in the United States. Her first degrees were in psychology, and these have had a huge impact on her art. Later in life, she finished the Andryaka School of Fine Arts, graduating with honors. Her paintings are in private collections around the world. read more?
