George Mason University’s Honors College Connects (HCC) Program cultivates leadership, research, and professionalism in Honors College students through a partnership with Leadership Fairfax and local non-profit organizations. Throughout the year, students from diverse disciplines and interests work as a team to organize a plan and produce a product, service, or solution that serves the community.
As many current and past partners as we could reach have been invited to attend as a way of reviewing and exploring partnership opportunities with George Mason University moving forward. Here is how the event will proceed:
1:00 to 1:30 p.m. Brief welcome from and introduction to Mason's Honors College, including time for Q & A and networking with other local nonprofits in Northern Virginia
1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Six HCC teams will showcase their year-long projects in interactive ways and demonstrate firsthand the various deliverables that student teams can produce
2:45 to 3:00 p.m. Closing remarks and recognition of HCC team member accomplishments
If you would like to attend and have not already done so please RSVP by April 11, 2018 via this Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pathways-to-partnership-an-honors-college-connects-special-event-tickets-44111386344
